Welcome! I’m thrilled to reflect on our life-changing journey that began in 2006. Reliving these experiences fills me with immense excitement. Our unforgettable seven-month Family Motorhome Holiday across Europe and the UK truly shaped our lives. Along the way, we travelled through incredible holiday spots in Europe, including the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Switzerland, and Scandinavia. By chance, we arrived in Monaco when the Grand Prix was starting. And we cheered on the Aussies at the 2006 Football World Cup in Germany.

The Beginning of Our Adventure – Family Road Trip Across Europe

Join me as I take you back to those early days filled with excitement and nerves. The promise of exploring Europe awaited us, and we embraced it wholeheartedly. As we prepared to leave our home and the surf of Wamberal Beach, NSW, Australia, we welcomed the adventure ahead. This wasn’t our first experience travelling Europe in a motorhome. In 2005, we rented one, driving through France for five weeks. This taught us the basics and helped us decide if we truly enjoyed this type of travel, especially since we weren’t campers back home. Consequently, that experience inspired us to pack up our home, leave our business in the hands of our dedicated employees, and set off on this grand adventure.

We picked up our motorhome in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and returned to Australia seven months later, filled with stories and memories. Throughout our journey, we faced challenges, met new friends, and discovered breathtaking landscapes. I can’t wait to share holiday spots in Europe, funny stories, disasters, and all the good and bad moments we experienced in our cozy rolling sanctuary.
